Peace?
Well, the founder of the peace prayer and peace pole was Masahisha Goi a Japanese Aikido master, who after Hiroshima wanted to start some peace effort. He sure did, there are over a quarter of a million peace poles all around the earth today!
The International students in the background by the pole, each read the peace prayer in their own languages (remember 16 languages). This was by far my favorite part of the dedicaiton. |
